One of my Co-workers is having another baby

His wife is pregnant with their 8th or 9th child. She also home schools their children! He is 45 years old so I'm guessing his wife is also around 40.

Sounds like our neighbors...he's a minister, she runs a preschool out of her home, child 7 is autistic and she gave birth to twins about 17 months ago...children 8 & 9...Though she is about 45.....I have 4 kids and can't imagine having 9 kids...

Congratulations to them! They must love children. 8 or 9 isn't for me but I know many people from large families love being from large families!

Congratulations to your co-worker - I'm sure they are exceptional parents.

As a child from a large family, exceptional parenting skills are required for large families - because unless you are an exceptional parent, it is virtually impossible to parent that many children successfully. And I have seen some exceptional parents handle 8 or 10 kids with virtually no problems and with some terrific results.
