One night stay

We are staying at Pop for one night next week and then moving to POR the next day. My wife said that they would transfer our stuff when our room is ready at POR. I think it would be easier to just load up in the car and move it ourselves.
Has anyone ever had any experience with this?

Bell services will transfer your luggage for you. However you need to be in your room for them to pick it up and need to be in your new room for them to deliver it. Seems to be a waste of time if you have a car.

If you will have a car, I would think it would be easier and cheaper to move things yourself. Bell Services will expect a tip on both pick up & delivery (2 different sets of resort CMs.). And as PP noted you need to be there for both pick up and delivery.

I had read somewhere here about leaving luggage with bell services at the resort so that it is safer than leaving it in your car all day. Will I need to go pick up my luggage when our room is ready?

Again if you have a car, bring the luggage to resort #2, and leave with Bell Services there. Once you are in your room, call bell services and they will be happy to deliver your belongings to your room (for a tip.)
