One night stay at Poly, what should we do?

Needed to extend our stay for one night and the Swan is sold out (we are spending the week their) so I called WDW and had a choice of Poly, AK and the BC/YC. Since we are staying at the Swan we decided on the Poly or AK..the price is not that much difference so we picked Poly.

What is there to do there for the one day, we will probably check in as early as they will let us and check out around noon the next day. I have dinner ressies at Kona (never been there for dinner) so that is taken care of. We would like to just chill out, not really worried if we get to a park the first day or not. Since we never stayed at the Poly we would like to get the most of our one day at the resort.

There is alot to do. You could use either the volcano or quiet pool. Get a snack from Captain Cooks or something from the pool bar. You could rent a pontoon boat, sea racyer or you could rent a bike and explore around. You could just walk. Check out the torch lighting. Watch the water pagent and wishes from the beach. Take a boat to the MK or one back at night if its operating. Nice atmosphere. You dont even have to go into the park. Take a monorail loop around etc. They also have a few hammocks on the beach that you could relax in etc. You will love the Polynesian.
