One night of Deluxe

We are booked for 7 days at POR. I would like to keep this ressie, but also book one night, (the night of or wedding) at a Deluxe resort, either YC, GF or or Boardwalk Inn. My questions are.......
1. Which resort has the nicest standard rooms? (Don't think I can afford a honeymoon suite right now) I am leaning more towrds BI beause I read that there is a balcony off every standard room. I thought that might be nice.

2. Will the staff do anything special for us if they know it is our honeymoon night? (just curious)

3. How will Disney feel about us leaving our POR room empty for one night? Since it will be empty(but we are still paying for it, because we will be back there the day after our wedding) we thought about maybe letting one of our wedding guests stay there for the night. Would this create a problem?

1. As far as nicest, it really depends on what you look for in a resort. We are staying at the Boardwalk and the GF for our anniversary trip this summer. You should look at wdwig.com for pictures, to see which theming appeals to you the most. You can also find facts like the size of a standard room.
2. The staff may or may not do anything for you, depending on chance. We have gotten some lovely gifts, but I've heard of PLENTY of others who haven't; I don't think you should go in expecting something, or you will be disappointed.
3. I don't know the answer to this one...

3- I doubt they will care if it is paid for! It is not as if they are losing money, so I wouldn't worry about it.

If it was just for one night as much as I love love love the Yacht Club I would go with the Grand Floridian and make sure they know it's your honeymoon.

Again it just depends on being in the right place at the right time if CM's do anything special for you - like other posters say, don't expect anything and you will be pleased if you do get some treats.

Nope they won't mind that you leave the room for one night - I wouldn't broadcast this as you don't want other's to know that your room will be vacant for one night with your stuff in it. I'd leave the room with the Privacy sign on it.
