So, i have messed up a little bit on our return journey - I booked the Saturday to return instead of Friday without realising until now, just a week before we leave. How the hell I managed that I do not know! But now it means we need to stay somewhere Friday night in and will have the entire day Saturday as our flight isn't until 11pm. This is fantastic news to me to be honest, even though its costing a little extra it means I CAN SEE DREAMS AGAIN AND BOOK ANOTHER DISNEY MEAL FOR FRIDAY NIGHT!!.. then we will make our way to the hotel.

Now, I have no idea what to book. We need to be in central Paris on the Saturday evening, but we will be staying in the parcs until late Friday so I don't really want to travel into Paris at night - where would you recommend staying and how easy is it from these places to get into Paris central for day out? Also, where could we leave our luggage in central Paris to explore and pick up before we go the airport?

thank you in advance

We've stayed in Vincennes a couple of times, same line as DLP and about 45 mins. Nice area, suburb of Paris and close enough to get anywhere quickly but far enough to be a lot quieter and more relaxed. It was a timeshare so not really sure of hotels in the area. We walked back from the station around 10pm after a visit to DLP in September with our DD who was 1 at the time and the train and walk back were fine, felt perfectly safe.

I'm sure someone can help with hotels.

I would think one of the hotels at Val d"europe would be best. You can get the RER there when the park closes and then the RER from there into central Paris the next day.

Or you could check prices for somewhere like the Kyriad or Explorers and then get the RER from the Marne la Vallee station

Does anyone know how late we can leave our luggage in the sequoia after we check out on friday? is there a closing time for this service? in fact can we do disney express and pick it up in the train station for this and how late can we leave this?

thanks

Sorry Im not sure how late you can leave it at the hotels but if you are moving on to another hotel and staying in the park late the last thing you will probably want is to go back to the hotel to get your bags and then back to the bus station/train station again

Im not sure if you can do the Disney Express if not going on the Eurostar - possibly you can. However there are left luggage lockers at the station - I think Elaine (DLPdaft) has used them regularly and they hold a lot of luggage- you do pay for them but they arent too bad.
Your other option is to use the left luggage at the parks - just outside the gates but you pay per bag so it would be more expensive and you have to go through security with all your luggage

Have you found a hotel yet?

This is so complicated i wish i hadn't done it now

Have booked the Villa Bellagio Bussy Saint Georges and will ask for Disney express when we check out, if not we'll leave it at the station until 9pm ish then get the train over there.

The next day we'll leave our luggage in Gare du Nord. This is the part i'm worried about..:guilty:

I may be wrong but isn't Disney Express only for if you're going on the direct Eurostar? I've never used it myself so not 100% sure but I don't think you'd be able to get access to your luggage as late as 9pm if you used it.

I think if it were me I'd just pay to use the large locker at the station. You can get more than one case in so it won't be too expensive and it would mean you'd have peace of mind that you'd get access to it whatever the time is.

Hi i did exactly the same. Id already booked the kyriad to leave on the friday, but when i booked the eurostar the prices for coming back on the friday were ridiculous so we return the sat, which for me is fab :cool1: so on the fri morning we check out of the kyriad and we have a hotel in busy saint georges for the fri night :wizard:
We are not so sure what to do with the luggage either but will probably use the lockers in the train station :cool2:

i'd say just use the lockers at the train station, take your luggage with you there when you check out in the morning. A large locker takes a couple of cases plus bags, costs 10 euros for the whole day, and you can pick it up anytime you like up to 10pm.

You can only use Disney Express one-way if you're getting the Eurostar from the train station at DLP as far as I'm aware, as where the luggage is taken for Disney Express is a separate place altogether from where the luggage locker room is at the train station.
