I know it's very early to plan for October but me and my sister, also an adult, will be going to MNSSHP for one night. Neither of us have ever been to WDW before and we only have time to fit one party in with no other park days.

There's so much to do and with the party added there is even more. My only priority for the party is (hopefully) the hocus pocus show and getting a pin. That being said I am a massive Disney fan and would love to know if any of you guys have any suggestions on the must do things. Obviously we only have about 8 hours in the park so we're trying to fit as much in as we can. The day of the party is pretty relaxed, we move hotels from universal but thats it. So we're pretty sure it'll be easy to make it to closing.

TIA

Definitely start planning now. What is more of a priority for you? Rides, characters? You can easily go through some trick or treat lines while going between rides and characters. If you've never been to WDW before, then I would focus more on rides. The waits for characters can be rather long...esp. Jack and Sally and The Seven Dwarfs. Not all the rides will be open, but there will be a fair amount if it's like in the past. The Enchanted Tiki Room won't be operating, but it was open as a trick or treat spot last year and that was a highlight for me. I would read through last years info and start trying to get a good handle of what to expect.

Rides are definitely the bigger priority, like you said I've never gone before so I really want to enjoy the park itself.

I'll have a read of the older threads :)

Also glad I'm not crazy planning this early!

Be purposeful in your planning for rides, since this is your priority. What are your absolute "wanna see-s"?? Enter the park at 4pm and choose 3 FastPasses to be at 4, 5 and 6 (give or take). That way, you're assured of 3 rides you really want to do. Plan according to the map, if you can, so that you're not running all over the park. :dancer: You may not be able to do 'everything', but if you plan strategically, you'll accomplish a lot. I hope you have a GREAT first experience. party:
