Roughing it is really only fun as long as I'm clean and caffeinated, lol!

True, particularly with the "caffeinated" part. I will say though, there have been plenty of times, where my camping was mingled with "Hiking" and clean then becomes "Relative". While it's good to keep the "Parts" clean, the face hands, etc... can be a bit dirty and still be comfortable. Definitely, though, clean socks/under garments are a HUGE factor of enjoyment while hiking.

Have had many a "Bath" in flowing water too. Some allowed for full submersion, while others were more like a "Bird Bath" Still, a nice shower is always welcomed.
