One night before package

We booked the Disney Visa package for August, but will be flying in one night early. Because our flight arrives so late, we booked a room-only reservation for that night. We are not changing resorts, and can see both reservations in MDE. Do I need to do something to make sure that those are tied together? We would like very much to not have to change rooms. I don’t have any other requests besides that, not looking for a specific location or floor.

When you check in for the first night, let them know that you have another reservation starting the next day and they can try to keep you in the same room. Or, you can call now and have it noted on your reservations so the room assigner has that info. I've done it before it worked fine.

As long as you booked the exact same room category for both reservations, you can call and let Disney know you have a continuing reservation and would like to remain in the same room. When you arrive tell the castmember checking you the same info. It is only a request, but room assigners will do their best to let you remain in the same room.
