One night before on-site stay

I currently have a night booked at the Hampton Inn on Calypso and The Palms Hotel and Villas on Parkway Blvd. both rates are comparable wondering if anyone has any feedback on either of these. Or if there is somewhere else close to AK they could recommend for a party of 5. I'm not too thrilled about either one but it is only for 1 night and we probably won't get in until 9pm. We will also have a car but like I said, I want to be close to AK.
