Hi everyone :goodvibes I got an email with a pin code, and decided I might actually be able to use it!

I am going to WDW Sept 24 to Oct 8. We are staying at Coronado with free dining. I thought I might plan 1 night/day at a deluxe with my pin code, just to experience everything it has to offer.

But I have no idea which deluxe to pick.

Just a little background...on our WDW trips on property we have stayed at: All Star Sports and Movies, Port Orleans and now Coronado.

The only resort I may already have on my 'no' list is AKL. I love animals, love Africa, but I don't think the pin code would make a safari view room affordable, and I think that is the only way I'd want to stay there.

So....anyone have any advice on which deluxe I should choose? Oh, its just myself and my boyfriend, we are in our 20s.

Any way you can bump this up to 2 nights? I feel like a one night change might not be worth it. While I find split stays to be easy, if you really want to enjoy the property, you may want 2 nights there. If you are going to stay there to really enjoy the hotel itself, you might want to cut down on your park time, or at least pick a restaurant in the hotel so you're not leaving it the whole time. Perhaps one of the resorts on the Boardwalk? Then you can enjoy the Boardwalk, walk to EPCOT and there are great restaurants and bars over there. Also, your PIN is good for only certain rooms at certain resorts (at least in my experience with PINs), you just might find that a safari view room is something you can use your PIN for, but a standard room at BC is not. It all depends on availability. So that Safari room at AKL might not be out of reach after all!

I would go with the Polynesian!! Laid back, relaxing, and romantc. It's a short monorail ride to the Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, Contemporary, and EPCOT. You can watch the fireworks from the beach or pool.

If I was in my 20's going with my BF I'd stay at the BC, YC, or BWI

I second the recommendation for a Boardwalk-area hotel, and will go one step further to specifically recommend BWI. The rooms & theming really feel "deluxe," and the atmosphere on the Boardwalk is ideal for a couple of 20-somethings. Add to it the convenience to EPCOT & DHS, and you've got a winner. :thumbsup2

Thanks so far everyone! I probably should have also added that I planned to spend the entire day/night at the resort. We have 2 weeks, and I have 4 days schedule that we won't be doing any parks. This would be one of them.

That is interesting about only certain rooms working, sounds like I'd be better off calling and talking it through with a WDW rep.

I was definitely thinking of an Epcot resort. Was leaning towards Beach Club because of the pool, and I have been wanting to try Cape May.

I also thought of the Poly, but I just can't make up my mind.

I agree with above poster -- if in my 20's with a BF, I'd go with an Epcot resort. Probably either YC or BWI. You guys could walk right in to the Epcot countries for a nice dinner, enjoy Illuminations and then a short easy walk back to the Epcot resorts. You could walk along the boardwalk, rent a surrey bike, grab a drink and late night snack at Espn Club. It's really romantic and pretty in that area. There is also a dance club along the boardwalk that stays open later. I also agree with a different poster above who mentioned 1 night may not be enough time to truly get a feel for a resort and all it has to offer.

Edit: oops I see I missed your new post above. BC is our favorite resort and only reason I didn't mention that one is because it's a bit more family oriented than the other 2. I wasn't sure if you wanted quieter, more adult feel that YC or BWI would offer.

I think Poly is great, but with the MK castle right there in view and the monorail transportation, I'd be too inclined to want to go to a park. At the Epcot resorts, you could easily make a day and night w/o entering a park. Just my opinion....
