We're flying in very late on a Thursday night for our early November visit:banana:. Probably land around midnight, in the Orlando area hopefully within an hour and ready for some much needed rest. We check into AKL on Friday.

I was wondering what hotels would be recommended for a one-night, late arrival stay:confused3? Breakfast in the morning would be nice, but not a deal breaker. Looking for clean, quiet and within $100. We checked out the value resorts, but the non-preferred rooms are over $100, and I have heard horror stories about the hike to the main building (we would be hauling luggage so they could transfer if we stayed there - did not appeal to us!).

We probably would simply sleep, get up, clean up and leave around 9 or so. Just want to be able to walk into the room without worrying about what we will run into, and trying to get one as close to AKL as possible, for a short and inexpensive morning jaunt. Travel Advisor is starting to freak me out :scared1:!

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks :goodvibes!

The DTD resorts are nice.. Stayed Best western and the Hilton.. Both very clean and comfortable.

Stayed Orlando Vista for 2 nights before, not bad and also very close..

Clarion LBV which WAS the Comfort Inn LBV had good prices.. Didnt have the greatest stay but its had a complete refurb and Im reading good reviews on it when I google and need 1 night late check in before our GF stay and need to watch the price.. Otherwise Id go back to Hilton DTD

If you're not renting a car, I would just book something near the airport since you're coming in so late, one that has a free airport shuttle. You can then take the shuttle the next morning back to the airport and take Magical Express to AKL.

I checked on Hotwire for 11/1 for fun. They have a 3-star for $59 w/ a 95% recommendation. They have free shuttle and comp breakfast.

Holiday Inn Express right off DTD was really great when we came down in January. We needed a one night place before the Outback bowl in Tampa (had to have our Disney fix too). Great hot free breakfast and easy checkin/out. Think the rate was somewhere around $86.
