Argh... one more sleep!!!!

This time tomorrow it is my birthday
and even more importantly, I will be back in Disneyland Paris (quite possibly enjoying a cocktail at Café Fantasia right now)
So, the plans have taken a rather dramatic turn... but I am still more excited than ever! My DBF was rushed into hospital a couple weeks back unexpectedly and underwent an operation which went from routine to life-saving (which he is still recovering from). Still, I am pleased to report (more than you could ever know) that he is doing good and on a slow mend (just want to say a big personal thank you to Loladelorean for checking in on us
it has meant a lot).
Anyways, back to nice things... So - tomorrow, we are set to arrive at the Disneyland Hotel
and due to the course of events, it will be MOI that is driving
(I am so nervous - I have no idea how it all works when you arrive) but we are going to make it as exciting as possible with plenty of Disney CD's to keep us company along with a little in-car picnic curtesy of Mummy Dearest
Due to DBF's current condition, the rides are a no-go. We may be able to get on It's a Small World and possibly Phantom Manor... but even Pirates of the Caribbean is seeming to be a bit too much for him right now.
On the bright side - how amazingly lovely, relaxing, perfect and completely magical is this trip going to be. We are going to spend the next four days together in the most gorgeous of all the Disney Hotels with no stress of rushing and queuing for rides and taking it slow, easy and soaking up the Disney magic just as Walt envisaged it. Afterall, Disney is much much much more than just a theme park right?!
We have a meal booked at Inventions both tomorrow night (for my birthday) and Friday night (our last evening there) which we are both excited about. We are going to have slow strolls through the parks with regular rest-breaks where we will sit, grab a naughty little treat and watch the real magic of Disney on the faces of the thousands of its guests. We will enjoy the shows (I warned DBF today that his condition does give me the right to force him through several showings of Cinémagique as it's my favourite... even though he isn't nearly as fond of it as I am
), the parades and most magically - Disney Dreams! Naturally, there will be cocktail breaks back at the DLH in the afternoon too... and if DBF needs to rest in the room and take a nap - it would certainly be rude if I didn't give him that rest-time and quietly make my way to Café Fantasia for a cheeky Barcardi Royale (or Ponchielli as we all remember them by).
Anyways - I cannot wait to see Disney from a complete different set of eyes. This is going to be the most magical trip yet where we both get to celebrate the coming of age, love, magic and the importance of life.

My little essay being done - who fancies a quick SDD with me?!
