One More Silly ME question

We will be using ME and checking through our bags to the resort. We are a group of four. However, one of us may not be taking the bus but may go directly from MCO to visit a family member and then come to WDW later. Will it be an issue if only 3 people show up at ME desk? We cant really decide far in advance as we dont know if the 4th will make that trip or not.

Nope, no issue whatsoever. In fact, if they can get by with just what's in the carry-on while visiting family and are staying in your room, they can put the DME tag on their checked luggage and it will be waiting for them when they get to WDW (because the rest of the party used Magical Express ).

I would say, just make sure you don't use the ME tag with their name on it. Each ME tag has two names on it: the name of the primary guest and then another name of the ressie. Technically you can't use ME as a luggage service, so they might not delivery the bag(s) with the name of the individual who does not take ME. I'm not sure this would happen, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

If you are unsure of whether you will be using Magical Express then you should make and keep the reservation(s). If one person does not show up then no problem.

The person who is unsure may use yellow baggage tags that came with the Magical Express package for the room.
