One more Magic Band question...

So our group of 7 has 4 annual passes already and we are purchasing 3 park hopper tickets for our three college kids for our trip in March (staying offsite). We have extra magic bands from previous trips that are not being used. Does anyone know if I can deactivate them from one of us (my dh has 3 and I have 2) and reactivate them with their newly purchased ticket so I don't have to buy an extra magic band?

I may be completely wrong, but I believe the answer is "no".

My understanding is that the band is linked to an account, and can't be removed. Just like a ticket. It can be deactivated so it won't work for a particular trip (so my annual pass was used instead of entitlements from my non expiring ticket) but can't be unlinked from my account and given to someone else.

The above poster is correct - MBs cannot be re-assigned.

You do not need to buy MBs for your kids. They can just use their tickets.
