One more hotel question

I've made and cancelled so many hotel reservations, I need to go through and make sure I don't have double reservations...

Anyways...

I've narrowed it down to Alpine Inn or Cortona. MAYBE Homewood Suites if I can find a better rate than I did the other night...

Any thoughts?

Out of those three, I would not hesitate to go with the Homewood Suites. (Nothing wrong with the other two hotels, but Homewood stands out as preferable.) Making your trip more comfortable is worth the investment, in my opinion. You can always try to save money in the parks by sharing food and treats, by eating the free breakfast at the hotel, by drinking the free cups of ice water instead of soda or instead of buying bottled water, by limiting souvenirs, etc. But having a more comfortable room to come back to at night can really help your sanity and peace of mind on a Disney trip. And the Homewood would let you take the TS shuttles if you wanted to do that.

What rates are you getting at Cortona and Alpine Inn? The motel guru peeps may be able to suggest something

First thought is whatever is closest.

Cortona $83/night. Although I just realized there are fees so a 4 night stay totals 436.78.

I cancelled the Alpine Inn one, but that was 109 a night.

I'm open to ideas if they're around that price range. I just need low cost and easy transportation into DL, which is why I thought the Cortona would be a fine choice for this visit.

People like the Cortona for a cheap stay, but it really doesn't compare to the Homewood. If all you want is a cheap room, take the Cortona.

Yeah...I can’t imagine homewood will come anywhere close to $83/night.
