sorry for yet another free dining question!!

can you book the free dining online or does it have to be phone? what time of day is it available to book (ie: dining reservations open at 7am...)
do they normally announce it before the booking window opens? will i know beforehand if its available or will i have to keep checking the internet?

sorry for all the questions but i've never done free dining before (is it obvious?! ) and i'm anxious to get a good deal as i'm potentially passing up a great deal to wait for the free dining to be announced (if it will be happening this year!)

It has always been available to book online, but generally the system is not running smoothly until days later. Most folks want to book immediately. Afterall rooms are limited.

I booked online last year without any problems. You do need to book it through the website Free Dining link in order for the FD to be applied. If you just try to book like a regular booking the FD will not be applied.
