Hey all. One month! 4 and a half weeks!!! Thirty days!! 20 working days!! 720 hours!! Any other time increment people can think of? I guess it's time to write my pre-trip report.
A little background on the trip. Around last December DGF and I concocted a plan to have a post college graduation trip to Disney World. While we were scheming, my mother said that, rather than do gifts this Christmas, she would like to do a family vacation.
After all, I'm just out of college, my brother is now in college, how many m ore chances do we have? So when DGF visited for New Year's, we brought the subject up. My parents loved the idea. DGF talked her parents into the trip, so now it's a joint family trip. We've been dating for 3 years and we're fairly certain it's going to end in marriage, so this is a great opportunity for the families to spend a lot of QT together.
Cast of characters:
Me, 23 years old, originally from Long Island, now living and working in DC area
DMom, 49
DDad, 49 at the time of the trip
DBro, 19, wasn't too excited for the trip at first, but is thawing out as it gets closer
DGF, 22, originally from CT, now living with me, going to grad school at Va. Tech
D future FIL
D future MIL
Flight plans, ADRs, itinerary (maybe) forthcoming
