one last time before I book cypress pointe

I am ready to book cypress pointe for our stay in nov. I just want to make sure that there are no hidden cost. I found a rate of 68.70 on hotel kingdom and am ready to book it, but before I do, I just want to make sure I have all the information. I see you can get room service for 45.00 a day, but I am assuming it is optional, but what do you do the last day you are there? Do they come in and clean it for you at know cost? Any other info you can give me will be appreciated. I have heard so many good things about this place from individuals.

When we booked through hotelkingdom we had to pay the whole thing upfront, but there were no hidden costs. They do take a credit card and put a hold on it when you check in, but its a fairly small dollar amount - no more than $150 or so.

You do not pay to have them clean your room, but they do ask you throw all towels in one spot, run the dishwasher, and thrown any dirty towels in the tub. Thats it!

stayed here 3 times in the past year or so, booked all 3 times thru hotelkingdom.com /2 bdrm unit Phase I.

Never any hidden charges, no cleaning fees upon your leave, regardles of the amount of days you stay. The only extra room associated fee is if you want to use the safe & I believe the charge was $2 per day. If you dont need it, they dont charge but ask you to initial the slip saying you wont use it.

Oh wait! Just thought of something - I believe they charge a fee for EVERY outgoing call that is made regardless if it is a local call or one made with a calling card. I remember someone down there arguing with the front desk person about the phone fees back during my March '04 stay. I never made calls using their phone, only my cell phone so I cant confirm that for sure, may want to ask before you start making calls.

We always throw all the towels in the jacuzzi tub & never strip the sheets off the bed when we leave & do run the dishwasher if we used any of the dishes & stuff. When I check out, I ask for a receipt reflecting a Zero balance & get one every time without hesitation from the staff.

Yes, there are charges for making calls. Local calls were $0.50 each.

WE called the front desk and were told that using a calling card would have no charge from hotel. WE used one and was not charged for it. WE stayed at the Villas though so maybe different but doubt it.
