One last question...I think

The doors have velcro on the ends to keep them closed. We have never had a problem with them not staying closed. If you are in really rough seas, they may open but you can prop them open with your luggage or something heavy.

If you close them properly, they don't normally slide on their own. I know this because DH rarely completely closes anything - doors, cupboards, drawers, bottles, etc. and it drives me crazy when we sail. So I'm constantly going around and closing the closet and drawers which keep sliding back and forth because he leaves them open. Once I close them, they are fine.

We've never had problems with them sliding open and closed, but you may get noise from the empty hangers banging together.

We just had a few rough nights on the Magic out of Miami and yes the hangers had to be removed. The verandah partition also made noise but nothing we could do there. The closet doors didn't move but the bathroom doors did close but they didn't even slam shut. It was so rough all the larger items on the desk area fell to the floor and our small fan on night stand fell to floor as well at one point. Nothing kept us awake though and if anything I don't think my daughter had a clue any of it was even going on.

We also have had problems with the hangers. Never with the door sliding on its own.

Our first cruise on DCL's larger ships was on the Dream. And the first night out of Port Canaveral was very very windy. As soon as we stepped into our stateroom we heard this loud continuous slamming noise. A quick look around the room we found nothing and noticed it was coming from the veranda. We opened up the curtain and the partition between ours and the neighbors veranda was swinging freely in the wind. We called Customer Service right away; and it was a very fast response time from maintenance to come up and secure it properly.

Our closet door slid open quite a few times on our recent Wonder cruise. It wasn't noisy when it did. The only issue was that the light in the closet would turn on when it did!

Which makes a great nightlight if you prop the door open with luggage ;)
