One last call for people to go on rides with me!

I know we had a thread about this a couple of months ago, but I would like to get a new list of who would like to do some rides and where they are staying. Post here again and let me know where you are staying! If you are listed on the GPA II list, then I will be able to find your last name so that I can look you up.

I am looking to do everything that I can't do with my kids, like WWTBAM, Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster, and anything else you all would suggest. Sorry, but the Dumbo ride is OUT!!

P.S. Bonus points if you're willing to eat sushi with me in Japan....

With all of the pin stuff going on for 3 days, i.e. the map pursuit, staying in line at each country waiting to buy pins and getting our map stamped. Trading at the event, just when do you plan to find time to do all of this stuff? The parks are only open so long. I've been struggling to try to squeeze so much in, but am lucky enough to have added a couple of days to my trip to play before heading home. Maybe if you don't eat or take bathroom breaks you can manage. I was there last year and felt like all I did was stand in lines, hopefully there won't be as many lines as last year. (Last year we had to stand in line to turn in our RSPs; stand in line to pick up our RSPs; then stand in line to buy our RSP selections--each line seemed to be at least an hour each time. With no RSPs this year, I'm being hopeful that I'll spend less time at EPCOT. I've allowed for 2 hours to do the map, some of the lines last year were huge and slow.) Good Luck!!

BTW, we ride just about everything, so look us up if you need a partner. I'm not a big fan of RnR, but my husband is!

I've decided if I have to stand in too long of a line, then I don't need the trouble. There's too much other stuff to do that I'll do instead.. like ride rides! So you can count me in for most of those (I won't do ToT).

I'll do ToT. From what I gather, the schedule for the GPAII on Saturday is as follows:

Epcot - The Land 11:00 am est
MGM - Indiana Jones Stunt show 2:30 pm est
All Star Movies 7:30 pm est.

I will be visiting Pin Central at Epcot and riding Journey into your Imagination. That will probably take an hour or so. Then it's to MGM where we could ride ToT together and maybe RnR. I would like to get to Magic Kingdom and ride the HM. Then I'll need to make my way to the All Star Movies by bus. During all this running around, I need to make 80 trades, change t-shirts buy some magnets for friends and find a mini mickey plush magnet. Hmmmmm, do you think I have too much on my plate for one day?

hang out with us, you can do it. I do the 4 parks in one day almost every trip. I have to get my final time on my favorite rides.
Here is the way my schedule runs. I used to do the EE and go to that park first then run to the others, but now I try to hit AK first because of their early opening.
Here is what I hit each trip on my 4 parks in 1 day run.
AK........Tough to be a bug, Kilamenjaro Safari(but now I guess I have to add Primevil Whirl to that list.
MK.....Alien encounters, Space Mountain, Small World(don't hate me, I love that ride),Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain,
MGM......TOT, Rock and Roller Coaster, TOT, Rock and Roller Coaster, TOT, Rock and Roller Coaster. (love Fastpass) Star Tours, B&B and/or Hunchback if the timing is right, Star Tours.
Epcot....Test Track, The Making of me (I cry every time), Honey I shrunk the audience, Journey into your Imagination, (play in the water), Germany for a Beaver tail (sustinance)
I know this sounds crazy but if you are up to it we can do it.
I will have a rental car so if we pretend to be college kids we can squeeze at least 10 of us in it. It's not mine, who cares.....
And if we have time I can take you over to the Belz outlet to get your shopping done. Do you feel up to the challange???

Tay, Peggie and others, I don't want to burst your bubble, but I think it's better to be forwarned so you're not disappointed. The Haunted Mansion is closed for rehab until about Sept. 21 and Test Track will be closed on Sept. 19th. And Maelstrom is down for an extensive rehab. Also Animal Kingdom doesn't open earlier than the other parks anymore. They all open at 9 am.
Sharon, not sure when you plan on going to the MGM Studios, but we plan on tackling WWTBAM on Wed. afternoon, if that works for you. During the pin event, I don't see us having much time for attractions!

I think Joanne and Randy, who are being so kind as to give me a ride not only **to** the airport here, but **from**the airport once in Orlando, will not be letting me go to my hotel on Thursday but will instead be drag...I mean, letting me come with them to WWTBAM where I may be able to view the master (Randy) in action. Maybe you can meet us there? (Did you mean Thursday afternoon? We won't be flying in until then....)

Okay, so Peggie, you did plan for us to get to sleep a little bit didn't you? I noticed at xmas/New Year's, I am getting too old for all this running, AND no sleep!!

Have promised myself I am going to try to enjoy the parks and do some xmas shopping, and not spend all my time in lines for pins! Hope that won't be too dificult, since so far I haven't been thrilled with any of the ones I've seen that we can get!!

Okay, well, my general plan was to do the map every day and catch rides in between while doing it. Since mileage may vary and everyone may have different ideas of when they want to go, I would like to offer this option:

If you e-mail me and tell me who you are (since I may not connect your e-mail address to your board name), I am going to send you my cel phone number. I will keep my phone on at all times and it gets really good reception. When you're ready to join us, just call me, and I will tell you the plan for the next hour or so. That way, if you have some down time and really want to ride ToT, youc an call me and say "Hey, I'm up for ToT!" (or in Daber's case, "Hey, I'm ready for some cheese soup!) and we can just go with it! Otherwise, if we all plan to meet somewhere then it might be crazy and inconvenient for some depending on their own plans.

I would post my cel number here, but I don't want to start getting bizarre telemarketing calls while down at WDW...lol!!

For those of you that may not have cel phones and want something more definite, we can perhaps have a plan to meet up right after the breakfast and lines are over, and see who wants to go where at that moment. As far as I can tell, there is nothing specific planned right after breakfast, and if there is then we can all arrange to meet later again. We could also perhaps come up with one time/place per day where everyone can join up if interested.

How does that sound? Feel free to comment or come up with an easier solution!
