One last adjustment needed to be made to the FP+ system.

Once the last pre-booked FP is used (at any given park), guest should be able to start adding additional FP's for that park. What I mean by that, is that if I pre-schedule 1 FP in the morning at DHS, and 2 in the afternoon at EPCOT, once I use the 1 at DHS, I should be able to add and use additional FP's at DHS, before leaving for EPCOT. Once I get to EPCOT, It would work the same way, once I use the 2 pre-scheduled at EPCOT, I then could add additional. The system would then be perfect.

I completely agree about the end result, but actually that would require two adjustments. The first would be allowing guests to make advance reservations in more than one park, and the second would be allowing them to add a fourth FP after using just one of the advance reservations, not all 3 of them.

I sent a message to Disney a few days ago suggesting that as a way to make FP+ even more useful for people like us who usually park hop and for guests who want to use one of the FP+ reservations on a nighttime show.

Personally, I think these changes are coming, and maybe sooner rather than later, because they seem like the logical next steps to the change that took place last week.

Right now, the best thing I can personally say about FP+ is that the results are starting to resemble what you could get out of legacy if the effort is put in.

That's far better than I could say during my trip a few months ago, but for me personally in order to elevate it above the former system, the initial 3 need to be able to be split over multiple parks, and the rolling FP should be unlocked once your first FP is used. MDE should also be able to be used for booking the rolling FP, and you shouldn't have to be in the park to do so.

For me, those improvements would allow me to stop comparing it to legacy, instead having it be a great system on its own.

I agree. Because it totally locks people out of additional FPs just because you have a parade or fireworks pre-booked. I hope they do as well.
