When a song makes you a millionaire, you don't need more than one hit. However, technically Los Del Rio charted with three songs, all different versions of the Macarena.
I saw them at a free concert, although I'm trying to remember the exact year. I think it was early 1988 on the UC Berkeley campus, but this was before I Touch Myself. They were playing a lot of songs that were hits in Australia, although they were considered "alternative" in the US. And even without a big US hit it was packed.
There's always a discussion of what "one hit" means. A lot of these are the one big hit in the United States, but maybe not in some other country. And then maybe chart position isn't the best way to determine a hit since some songs become classics over the course of years where they don't necessarily sell or get played a lot at one time.
Me too !!! The one posted looks like a version they did for a TV show many years later and the harmonies are not as good as the original. There are better versions of their original 1976 recording on YouTube.
