I hear about all kinds of places on the radio in ads and didn't know where they were. Well, I still don't know where they are (since I was lost and have no idea where I was), but I can say I have atleast visibly seen them.:teeth:

I told my kids I really need to get a navigation thingy for my truck so that when I get us lost, I might can get us unlost a little faster.:teeth: I told my dd once that the area where we were at looked a lot like Orlando right before we get to WDW. She said "Mom, for all YOU know we probably ARE in Orlando.":teeth: Only in my dreams.;)

Actually, Jason, when I get lost I have a small male-ism. I refuse to stop and ask for directions and I will drive in circles if I have to.;)

Tony, take me to WDW.:teeth:

Hey Laurie and DD.

LOL! I have maps and ask for directions. I never stay lost for very long.
And Jason darlin, I definitely drive like a woman, I get to where I'm going. :p :teeth: :teeth:

hey Shannon

Shannon,
Didn't you once say that one of your kids sometimes acts as a navigator??:D

Pam, my DD likes to think she's a dictator sometimes.;) We went on a family field trip with one of my dd's classes today and I printed out 2 maps and had directions to where we were going. I made it there fine, but got lost on the way back.:o My ds got out both maps and tried to tell me where we were, but he only got me more lost.;)

Laurie, I NEVER stop and ask for directions. In the south when you do that, the person always gives screwy directions. "Turn by where that barn used to be in 1943. Then turn at the such and such that was there before they moved it.", etc. I have a very poor sense of direction, but I'd rather depend on it.;)

I happen to think that getting lost is sort of fun! I love lis tening to music in the car, and I am not prone to stopping for directions unless I am on a really tight schedule.:p

Laura Ainsley

Laura, it might've been more fun if I had been alone. My kids were fighting over the radio when I was at my most frantic. I have the Disney Theme Parks cd and my ds has a thing for the song about The Country Bears. After about the 80th:eek: time in a row he played that song, my dd decided she'd had enough and wanted to listen to There's a great big beautiful tomorrow. The argument that ensued was far from Disneylike. :teeth:

Yikes Shannon, that's awful. I hope being lost and the kids arguing didn't last long.

Laurie, I wasn't lost for too long this time. Only about an hour or so.:o My kids got real quite when I turned the cd player off.:teeth: If mommy turns off Disney, that means mommy is a little too stressed.
