One Final Decision?

I have just booked six nights at OKW. I purchased points from a DVC member. I plan to book two additional nights (Friday/Saturday in April, Easter Weekend) at a deluxe resort. These will be the first 2 nights of my trip. I will be traveling with my wife and 10 year old daughter. I would love to get different opinions on where to stay and why. I want it to be something special that my daugher will remember for years!

How about a Tower room with a Magic Kingdom view at the Contemporary so your daughter can watch fireworks from your room and watch the castle change colors? These rooms used to be just a request but starting in 2006 they can be reserved so you would be guaranteed the view.

If I were 10, I'd want to stay in one of the All-Stars, hands down. Kids love 'em.

Deluxe-wise, I'd have to say Contemporary. Kids love that Chef Mickey's breakfast. They love that monorail zooming into their hotel (and if you schedule your time at the Magic Kingdom for those two days it will be extremely convenient). They also enjoy the Food & Fun Center. I don't like the Contemporary, but most kids (and lots of adults) do.

I'd have to agree with the Contemporary, MK view. We've usually had the lagoon view by request, I really love it, but I'm sure you're little girl would like watching the castle turn colors at night and seeing MK.

Breakfast at Chef Mickey would be fun and convenient. You're going to love OKW. We also rented points for there before and are going back there in May. I just loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere.

I've never stayed there, but if for the largest pool at a resort, the Stormalong Bay at the Beach Club/Yacht Club is supposed to be nice. Will know ourselves in a couple weeks!!! The Boardwalk is across the street too.

Still, CR with a MK view would be really special.
