WE had a great time at the pool, boo for a hot ball field, can you have a hotdog and a beer???!! That is the only way you can get me to go to a baseball game!!

20 days so close now. The t-shirts are great that you made the design. You reveal sounds like fun look forward to reading about it. The pool party sounds so cool, we don't have the opportunity for pool parties here unless they are indoors, not quite the same affect, we love going to the pool at disney as we don't get to do that at home

Well, DS4's FIFTH birthday is next Sat, and DS7's EIGHTH birthday is the following Sat... With fun parties planned, gifts, and such, I really think the Disney trip won't get the attention it deserves!!!!

So we are going to announce the trip and have ONE DISNEY celebration, on the final Sunday before the trip, ONE week from the departure to Florida on the Autotrain. So that way they have a count down of one week, I can manage to create at least ONE successful Disney night and our trip will have its own celebration this way!!! THEN, Friday the 18th is DH's birthday and the opening night of ToyStory 3 -- so they will have that to look forward to as well!!! DH promises me we can go see it again in Disney. I was really bummed I was going to miss this!

So much fun stuff going on for you guys! This time is absolutely going to fly by!

We saw (and took pictures of) a whole bunch of Toy Story 3 stuff at the Memphis Disney Store yesterday. They surely came out with a bang in producing toys for this movie!

A Civil War party is quite interesting. I guess the kid loves American History.
A one week countdown sounds perfect! Your kids will be so excited and won't have long to wait.

Yeah, well I guess us NORTHERNERS, must have a different point of view... It was really cute. They played capture the flag, then played with a big 6 x 6 set up for their army men... had cake and such. He got a fun bunch of themed stuff, too... "rulers of the South" -- on a ruler -- and a pack of playing cards "civil war theme", a new hat (it was a dress up party, actually, so that was also a hoot) and some penny candy sticks. It was cool. DS4 and I had a lovely day at the pool, and now I am here with my iced tea, ready to grill steaks and corn.

How fun! I bet the boys loved that party! We had fun at the pool, too, once I reminded Chelsea and Connor that rough housing and holding each other under were not allowed this year, either.

Came home for pink lemonade, ice cream, and board games this evening!

Yeah, well mine have not quite figured that our yet, but it is coming I am sure -- DS4 doesnt swim quite yet, DS7 barely. SO in a few years that will be my pain I am sure! lemonade, ice cream, board games. The stuff summer is made of!!!

I think he really does, which is why it was all themed that way! Yeah, I think the 1 week countdown is perfect for them, DH promises me he will do the countdown with them since I won't be there for all of it.

She hasn't posted anything since she took a picture of Marc by the Ariel statue at Beach Club, but that means they made it. We were texting earlier today as she landed in Atlanta and then booked it through the airport to make their connecting flight.

A civil war birthday party--that sounds interesting. How did it go? I live in Ohio and particulary the land of Grant as everyone around here will tell you. Ulysses Grant grew up in the town we live in as a child. I think everywhere you turn you see or hear about Grant. There is a group (I can't think of their name) that puts on a Grant Days each year with a reenactment, ladies tea, and even a ball. With all that said, I have never heard of a civil war birthday party, even here.

I so hear you on the shorts. I ordered 2 pairs from Athleta that will be here next week, we will see how they work out. JCrew did have the bermuda's on sale over the weekend for $29.50 in some of the off colors. Not sure if they still do but I snapped up a pair in a charcoal grey that I love!

I found a pair at Anthropolgie online but couldn't swallow the price plus shipping and another in the store that is really a cross between shorts and capri's. They hit right at the knee so to me they are shorts. And they have all the cargo pockets I love, I need to retire my older cargo 4-5 year old capri's, they are falling apart (1) or the zipper won't stay up (1)

Wanted to send a little warning your way...Connor had money from his grandfather to spend yesterday so he wanted to head to Target and get Toy Story soldiers and paratroopers (like that boy doesn't have enough toy soldiers). Anyway, the bucket he got had two paratroopers and then, he bought one of the two packs of paratroopers. Here's where the warning comes in -- which you may be aware of already -- never ever let those paratroopers get close to each other because then they become hopelessly tangled together and cannot be separated. Luckily, Connor managed to only do that to two of them.

Lesson Learned at CP's House Yesterday: Paratroopers must jump alone.

OKAY. That is off my chest. NOW the anxiety can set in!!!! HOLY SMOKES!

Yeah, so here is what I can tell you today:

1. I am woefully behind in my PTR/TR reading, and my own PTR UPDATING!!!!

I feel robbed!!!! I have so much to tell you all!

2. I have a birthday party to finish preparing for today, cupcakes to pick up, a FIVE YEAR OLD to drag out of the bathtub, and B-Day treat bags to stuff before 1pm!!!!

3. I have not even read the posts on my OWN PTR! SO I will catch up tonight!

4. WORK HAS BEEN INSANE. Enough said. This has been me all week:

6. I had DH bring the suitcases up....


SO much happening, if I can survive today, I will be gold!


I crashed asleep at 10 last night after all sorts of mayhem so no time to DIS hardly at all this week, but I will be back tonight, I promise!!!!
