one evening in AK - where to eat?

Right now the AK hours for September have it closing at 7:30. I have an ADR for Tiffin's at 6:45. We are going to the Wine Tasting that Jiko offers at 3:00

I also want to try the Nomad Lounge. Do not have time for both drinks in the lounge and dinner at Tiffin's and it is not likely we will be back to the AK this trip since it is mostly focused on the food & wine festival.

Which one - lounge & appetizers or dinner in the restaurant?

A lot depends on travel time that day. I would keep the ADR at Tiffins, and if you arrive in time for a cocktail, then you are all set.

I am not sure how dinner service processes at Tiffins, it is so new that I don't think we know if it lags behind ADR's or not. You may have plenty of time for the lounge, which looks awesome BTW, and dinner.

I'd go Tiffins and maybe pop into the lounge for a drink if time permits during the day. From what I understand, Nomad opens around 3pm.

I'd go to Nomad for drinks and apps but that is just the way I prefer to eat.
I can't wait to visit Nomad next week! It's open 11:30am-9:30pm during my stay.

Thanks. Since we will be at the AK lodge from 3:00 to I. Guessing 5:00 we will take the bus over. Guess we could have time for both if the wine tasting is around 2 hours.

Does anyone know if Tiffin's takes TiW?

I think I will! Maybe do an appetizer in the Nomad lounge and just entrées and desert at Tiffin's. And wine. Much wine. Gotta love a vacation with NO driving!

If the wine tasting is 2 hours, you'll definitely have time for Nomad and I HIGHLY recommend it! I also recommend Tiffins! I would definitely have a cocktail in Nomad and then dinner in Tiffins. The lounge and restaurant are connected. When you check in at Tiffins, you can leave your cell number and they will text you when your table is ready. You can always go into Nomad while you wait for Tiffins and get your cocktail then.
