One direction!

My DDs are obsessed, too. You should see the upstairs hallway. They constantly bug the local radio dj requesting their songs. They have each picked one of the boys as their own. They spend hours writing down all the song lyrics. It's nuts!

I have to admit, though, their songs are pretty catchy. I particularly like "More Than This."

LOL, my 12 year old daughter has picked Liam. She loooooves One Direction!
I like their songs!

I'm 14 and I really love them. I like the song What Makes You Beautiful (the one they play on the radio) but I'm kinda getting sick of it becuase they over play that son way to much! Their songs are so catchy and they are so cute&funny. They just like to have fun and aren't to serious in their interveiws.

If I could, I'd hold that long, shaggy haired one down and shave his head.... the little brat.

Manufactured pop crap.

Anyone know if they are making a stop at Disney World? We saw via Instagram that they are at Universal today.....presumably for fun, not performance....

I like them well enough, since the girls are crazy about them and I was the chaperone last month for the concert, I guess that's a good thing. :D

For those of you who are going, earplugs. Not because of the band, but seriously, I thought my ears were going to bleed from the shrieking. They got on stage about 9PM for a show that started at 7PM (with some fair acts before them, mostly piped in music).

Be warned, it's not so much a "stage show" as just pure singing. When they say they don't dance, they ain't lying. Think about and hour, hour and a half of they type of show people generally put on for the morning shows. Just straight singing, no real props or anything.

They also don't sing all the songs on the album, it's some of those with a bunch of coversongs from other singers.

My 14 yr old daughter loves them and I will admit I think they are cute too. We have tickets to a concert next year.

My DD 16 loves them, so I get to hear all of the band updates. I'm also a Lady Gaga fan due to DD, and now I really love Marina and the Diamonds. Marina is at the top of the charts in Great Britain with her new single Primadonna and is going to be a big hit in the US when her album is released in the US in July. You heard about it here first, folks! :thumbsup2

My 13 year old is obsessed with them. It's ok. I think their music is kind of catchy. I put up with her obsession because I remember my own Duran Duran obsession.

Yeah I am not afraid to admit I love them too!! Would have loved to see them in concert but both of my friends with tween kids that love them too are on vacatioon this weekend and it just somehow feels odd being a lone 30something at a one direction concert hehehe

I got tickets for their concert a year away from now, and I just got tickets for a concert in November. It's a long drive to get to the venue but I'm excited for it!

Just pretend your kids have better seats and you are meeting them at the car after the concert. Besides, you are the perfect age for some members of the band.:goodvibes

No. Not because they're a boy band (well, a bit) but mostly their music. It's just bubblegum pop and I can't stand that. Haven't seen much of them in interviews but I pray they aren't as stuck up as Bieber because THAT is what really ticks me off about boy bands...their attitude.

I saw the show in Tampa and you hit every point dead on! Took my kids with some friends, they can sing fairly well, but there was no stage show at all. Sat on a couch part of the time and walked back and forth for the rest. I was also not to thrilled they started 2 hours after the "start" time. I know I sound like an old fart, but yeah, my kids are still young. The opening acts were not good at all.

Boy do i wish I could throw together a few kids that could sing AND dance!!! (Nsync, BSB etc) I'd give 1D a run for their money.
