I have the night of April 19, without ADR. I am making up my mind between
JIKO or FULTON'S CRAB HOUSE for that last night.

Any comments or reccomendatons?

Let me know

I haven't had Jiko's yet. We ate at Fulton's Crab House on our arrival night in December. It was very, very good. I had the lobster tails. Yum! Their appetizers are really good as well. Each of the four of us enjoyed our meals.

OK - probably get flamed for this, but Fulton's was the absolute worst meal I have ever had at WDW.

Four adults, three orders completely screwed up. We went b/c DW is a huge lobster fan - she said it was OK, nothing special. I ordered a filet cooked medium, it came out rare as can be. My friend ordered a rib eye medium rare, it came out looking like charcoal. His wife ordered Shrimp over Rice and got it over french fries.

Then we were also billed for a hamburger, which nobody ordered.

I can't ever see me going back there or recommending it to someone else, even if I know my experience was the exception to the rule.

I can't compare the two places for you, as we've never eaten at Fulton's, but we LOVED Jiko when we were there this past January. The food was delicious (I had tilefish that was amazing, and dh had a filet that he really enjoyed. Our dd9 even chose broiled salmon, of which she ate every bite!), the servers knowledgable, and the atmosphere relaxing. I would highly recommend it!

I've eaten at both multiple times. We always had decent experiences at Fultons, but Jiko is so much better in my opinion. If you like fish, Jiko always has an amazing fish dish (used to be monkfish, now halibut I think) with a lemon beurre blanc and vegetables that is out of this world. DH loves their filet with mac and cheese, and their short ribs. They have great appetizers--the taste of Africa has three different hummus like dips with assorted pitas--their flatbreads are amazing, and their desserts are top notch. I recall really liking the chicken too--they brought it to the table in a tangine, which was pretty neat.

Plus, they have an excellent wine list, all South African. The decor is very nice, and we've always had stellar service.

Hope this helps!
