One day?

Staying at Disney 4/16 to 4/24. Instead of Hollywood studio I am considering going to either US or IOA for the day so I have a few questions.
1. How to get from our resort to US/IOA
2. Its myself and my 16 year old grandson in our travel party.
3. Where would you purchase a one day ticket

Use a taxi, private car service set up in advance, uber or rent a car

You can buy tickets at the park on the day of or order them on the UO website or other ticket vendor sites in advance
Then pick up the tickets at the park ticket kiosk the day of or spend a few bucks and have the tickets mailed to you
