I just found out I was going to be in Orlando for work in March. I was thinking about having my DH fly out on my last day in town so we can go to WDW.

(about us) -----> DH and I have never been to WDW but have annual passes to DL and go about once a month.

Knowing all this what would you do on your one day in town?
I heard test track was fun but now I read that its not even in WDW... grrrrrr so do we do WDW or epcot? If we do wdw what is a must not miss? (keep in mind we don't want to do the same stuff we can do at DL.

I'd suggest our usual strategy which is to hit a park at rope drop, tour until lines get long then hop to Epcot. If you don't have a hopper I'd just hit Future World, where Test Track is to be found, enjoy the rides there and then enjoy World Showcase.

There are 4 theme parks and 2 water parks to WDW. Magic Kingdom (what I assume you mean by WDW), Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Epcot.

My suggestion is you look at what each park offers and then decide which one you want to go to. Then plan a day from there. And if you only have one day then I agree with rope drop for you park of choice.

Also, check out the menus for the park you want to visit.

I agree with the pp, your going to need to look at each of the parks to decide which will work out for you.

Here is a thread for a WDW vet to DLR: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1162599. You might be able to use it to at least see comparisons of attractions.

There might be one somewhere for a DLR vet to WDW, but I have not really looked.
