To make a long story short....my father and son will be arriving early evening of March 22 (my son's 14th birthday) and will spend the following full day, Monday March 23 at the parks....as his birthday present, they will be spending their one night at DLH...

Last trip to DLP was eight years ago and he remembers minimal. I am trying to help him organize his day so he can get as much in as possible. I believe there is an 8am EMH opening that day.

Looking for tips, recommendations on the 'can't miss' rides, shows, attractions.

Staying longer is not possible, unfortunately...the trip to Paris itself is a gift from my father to my son and theside trip to DLP was a compromise!

Many thanks to all you experts!

If it is on I would say dont miss the parade (on daily at 4pm on main street usa) and candlebration which is on when the park closes.

If I just had one day I'd do:

DLP park:
Space Mountain,
Buzz,
Phantom Manor,
Big Thunder Mountain,
Pirates,
Small World,
Peter Pan.

Studios:
Aerosmith,
Lights, Moteurs Action!
Tower of Terror,
Cinemagique.

If it's a quiet day it is possible to do all these (though this was on a very quiet November day).

Seeing as it's your sons 14th, you could skip Small world and Peter Pan if you're pushed for time.

Make sure you use your fast passes well!
