We will be in Paris next month and my husband surprised me with tickets to both parks, but only for one day. We are staying in Paris so will take the train out in the morning and back in the evening so it will be a very long day! I have only been to Paris once before, over 20 years ago, just for a day so I do want to spend most of our time exploring Paris, but am excited to check off yet another Disney park!

I only have about a month to research and prepare so I'm open to any tips on what not to miss, what is ok to skip, best food, etc. It will just be 2 adults so no little kids to worry about. Now, off to scour this forum!

What do you like to do? Are you: I want to do all the rides / I love shows / I love characters / I want to see all the unique things / I hate roller coasters / I love good food

I love the rides, especially coasters! We are definitely interested in any that are different than the ones at WDW. Will probably pass on characters unless we happen upon them with a short wait, same with shows, we will watch if we are there at that time, but probably won't plan around shows. Soaking up the atmosphere while eating some tasty snacks!

The rides that are unique or substantially different from WDW are:
- Indiana Jones
- Big Thunder Mountains (best version in the world)
- Phantom Manor
- Space Mountains
- All the walkthrough attractions (Alice, Alladin, Castle and dungeon)
- Pinocchio
- Snow White (just because it's not in WDW anymore)
- Crush n Coaster
- Iron Man roller coaster (same track as Rock and Roller Coaster, different effects, but it seems they're rubbish)
- the 3 small flat rides in Toy Story land (not really worth it)
- Spider Man (but identical to the one in California)

Just a bit different, but not much so:
- Pirates
- It's a Small World
- Tower of Terror (a spooky girl is the narrator of sorts)

If you haven't had the chance to ride Ratatouille in Epcot, it's cute, but it's a clone otherwise, you can safely skip it

Better if you go with low expectations about food at DLP.

Thanks, exact what I was looking for!

Hi, I did one day two parks back in July. I wanted to ride all the attractions I could while I was there so I got the Disney Premier Access Ultimate to skip the lines at every major attraction except the Spiderman ride and Iron man coaster. It's a bit expensive but for me it was worth it since I got to do every attraction that was included and some that others that weren't. My top coaster of the day were: Crush Coaster, Hyperspace Mountain, and Big thunder Mountain. Tower of Terror is excellent and has a total different story and system that the one in WDW. I also highly recommend watching the Dream and Shine Brighter show (it's amazing) and Disney D-Light (the drone show). I hope you have a great time!
