One day touring plan?

Has anyone found a good itinerary for touring Universal Studios and IOA? We have one day in each park, and I want to make sure we use them wisely.

We will be staying onsite (with FOTL privileges ), so we won't have to race around too much.

There seems to be lots of "touring plans" for WDW, but I haven't found any for Universal.

Any tips? Any good guidebooks (or wesbites) to recommend?

A good book is Kelly Monagahan's Universal Orlando book found on www.theotherorlando.com. The website even has a lot of text from the book.
