One Day Tickets

Do one day tickets have dates on them? When you go to buy them it asks for the date, does that mean that is the only day one can use them? What if one buys a ticket for a value day but then is unable to go are they SOL? Or are they allowed to use them any other day, even if it is a regular or peak day? Or will they be allowed to use it only on another value day?

Since the tickets keep their monetary value (assuming they are not comp tix, and in this case, obviously, you are buying your ticket), they can be used on a date other than the one given at purchase. I think Disney wants to know which pricing to assign. If you go on a different day and the pricing has gone up, I understand that you will be asked to pay the difference.
