One day tickets and linking accounts

I'm new to the parks and am planning for one MK day in February before our cruise. We are staying offsite so no magic bands. There are 2 families traveling together (2 moms and 2 daughters) . If I purchase all 4 tickets at the same time, do I have to create 2 separate accounts? I'm hoping to just add names and have the ability to book FP and dining for everyone through my account. The other mom doesn't want to do any of the advance work and I love to plan so I volunteered.

Also, since we won't get magic bands is there any reason to purchase them? I'm worried about the girls keeping track of their tickets on our day at the park. Is that silly?

There's no need to create separate accounts. I "manage" my daughter, grandmother, and aunt via my MDE account and simply had to add their names in the "My Family & Friends" section to do so. You'll just have to assign a ticket to each person. I don't see the need for a MB.
