One-day ticket question

As many times as I've been, and as long as I've been on the boards, I should probably know this!!! But...

I will potentially be in the Orlando area at the very end of June with some friends who've never been! (GASP, I know!!) We have about a dozen MagicBands with some non-expiring water park days attached. If we decide to do one park day (MK of course), staying offsite, I know how to get tickets and link them to my bands. But what do I do for my friends? They won't want to buy bands. Can I reassign some of my old ones to them and link online-purchased tix to them? Or would an online-purchased ticket get mailed (like party tickets used to be) and they just use the cards? I want to link them up to my MDE so we can try to get same-day FP as a group.

Unless something has changed, you cannot reassign MBs. I haven't purchased stand-alone tickets, but surely there's some place in the order process to request physical tickets.

Where are they buying their tickets?I bought our tickets from UT this trip and requested physical tickets. They came in the mail a few days later.

Just to keep things clear regarding 1-day tickets...
UT (and other discounters) charge MORE for 1-day and 2-day tickets than if guests buy those tickets directly from Disney.

Yes, you CAN reassign unused tickets to other people.
