One day ticket question

Can you get an actual RFID ticket that can be used for fastpass in the mail before your trip? Or are all online orders a receipt that has to be traded for a hard ticket? My son and friends are planning a one day visit and they will not have magic bands.

1. Yes. (If you want them to be sent to you, which is fine.)
2. That would be just fine for FP, too.
3. You can order hard tickets as "Will Call" and just pick them up at WDW after arrival.
You can then book FP+ as soon as you order the "Will Call" tickets by putting the
confirmation number into a MDX account.

Not necessary to spend time in Will Call. You can use the printed confirmation with bar codes right at the Park Entry Touch-Point and receive a "hard ticket".

I had to book my ticket over the phone when the website wouldn’t take my gift card. I received a hard card two days later. I then bought my second ticket the next day with another gift card on the website. I wonder if I will also get a hard card.

You will, if you chose the home delivery option.

I didn’t even see that as an option. I think I just kept it on the default choice. We have magic bands so doesn’t really matter. I guess when you book on the phone it come automatically.
