I have a one day park hopper ticket. Epcot in the morning and magic kingdom at night. Since I can only fastpass one theme park, between soaring in epcot and the seven dwarf mine in MK, which would be the better choice to do the fastpass? Haven't been on either rides. Is it worth standing in line for either rides?

I would rope drop Soarin' and use the FP+ for 7DMT.

If are definitely going on both rides then 7DMT hands down to use the FP on. 7DMT is definitely not worth waiting for (maybe 15-30 minutes would be an an acceptable wait time but that is pushing it). I have no idea why anyone would would wait the 2-3 hours I see regularly posted. While an interesting ride from a visual standpoint if you have been on it once that is enough. It barely rates above the Barnstormer ride from a thrill perspective. You are much better off on Space Mountain or BTMR. IMHO.

I agree to an extent - I love 7DMT and make sure we have at least 2 FPs per trip. It's just a very fun ride. But I would not wait more than 45 min, maybe 1 hour, for any ride in Disney, even my absolute favorites.

The queue for soaring is air conditioned??? The whole waiting area or just partial?

OP, the other reason I would choose 7DMT is that this way you get to use your 3 FPs in MK - you can't split them up between parks when booking in advance. This is definitely the smarter move than using them for Epcot.

I agree.

Would I wait an hour for 7DMT? Nope. But, I have no qualms booking multiple FP+ for it on our trips, and on the day we have our VIP tour guide with us in MK we'll loop it a few times too. It isn't the most thrilling ride, nor is it very long, but my daughter [she's 8] and I absolutely enjoy it.
