One day park to park with EP

We will be going for one day on March 12. It's spring break so we are planning on EP no matter what. We just like the security of it. Looking online I see a 1 day 2 park-park to park ticket with EP for $244.99

Is that most likely going to be the best deal I can find? It doesn't look like Undercover Tourist would be any better and it's actually a $5 savings buying the EP ahead of time. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before I buy 5 of these tickets for my family.

Thanks!!!

Did you check to see if it would be cheaper to book the Royal Pacific hotel for one night? That would give you two days express.

I did. Originally I didn't think it would help but after further research each EP day can be a different price. So checking on my dates for one day park to park unlimited EP it's $638.95 for all 5 passes. I can get the Royal Pacific for $561.37 after taxes saving me roughly $75.

I'm nervous on when I can check in and does this also allow me early entry and how do I find out which park is open early on my day?

But so far it looks like booking the room and getting the 5 EP would be a better deal than buying them with tickets.

And is it better to check in that morning, park at Royal and transport to parks from there or check in then just drive over to the main parking ramp at parks.

Go to Royal Pacific first and check in before going to the parks. You can either leave your bags in the car or they can hold your luggage for you if the room is not ready. You have to check in in order to get your EP's. I'd leave your car there. The walk to the park from the hotel is like 5 mins top.

You can check in after 6am on your first day and you can absolutely take advantage of EE.......you can leave any luggage with bell services if your room isn’t available........sometimes they can be.

The hotel can tell you which park has early entry when you check in, or check the website a few weeks before you go.

Once you park at the hotel, either walk, it isn’t far 7 minutes to IOA or take the boats.....don’t move your car to the main theme parking garage or you’ll pay again to park. You’ve already paid to park at RP and that doesn’t cover the main garage for the parks.

Okay, so I'm going to be paying to park at RP no matter what correct? I saw on another thread to park at garages because it's cheaper than parking at the resorts.

You can’t leave your car at the main parking garage, so if you did park there you’d pay twice......

Yes, if you have a car at RP you’ll pay to park there.

What if I just wanted to run in to check in and then was going to leave? Would I pay for parking then or is there a short term area for that? Reason I ask, I'm only going to park one day. Thinking about reserving the hotel for the night before so I can just go check in that night then on park day go straight to the park.

Oh so you wouldn’t be staying in the hotel.......gotcha........

Yes you can do that as you wouldn’t be going in to the parking lot....it has a barrier you need your room key to get in and out of.

You can pull up very quickly in front of the hotel, valet will move you if you stay too long......but yes, there is an area at the front you can run in and check in.

That's awesome!

You are a wealth of information. Do you know much about using Undercover Tourist tickets and reservations at RPR? Pricing UT tickets is about the same but it says to print e-ticket. Is that all we'll need or would we end up at the customer service counter with that ticket? And UT also has a better rate at RPR, would that have any bearing on the resort or EP's? Thanks!!!

Where you book the hotel has no bearing on your stay at the hotel and your EP.......you get that just by staying there.......regardless of who you book through.

If you book with the hotel you can amend the price on your reservation if the cost comes down.......that’s not the case with 3rd party bookings.

I’ve never used UT......I know many people use them and take the E Ticket........some people have reported being able to exchange for a real ticket, but saw someone post on another board they asked to do this and were told they couldn’t do it.
