I have a one day trip to epcot planned in June on a weekday. I am thinking thursday, that would be the 15th? I am an offsite guest. How early should I arrive. I know this is a huge park but would like to see as much as possible without killing ourselves. (I could go on wednesday instead, if that would make a difference). It has been about 3 or 4 yrs since weve been (havent seen Mission to Mars or Soarin). Any advice would be great. It will be one adult and 13 and 14 yr old boys. TIA
I would suggest getting there when they open and heading str8 for Soarin'. Get a FastPass and then wait in the stand by line. It shouldn't be much of a wait first thing in the morning then ride it again with the FP. I would then head over to M:S and TestTrack. After doing the more crowded attractions, enjoy World Showcase at your leisure. I would also recommend eating lunch either early (10:30-11am) or later (2-3pm) to avoid the majority of the crowds.
Try and get there when the park opens, because your staying offsite it doesnt give you the extra hour(s), if this is available for the park that day, once you get there, there will be lines already for the rides. Get there early, enjoy what you could and at night, relax w/ a good dinner and enjoy illuminations!
Have a great time!
Ok, that thursday, the 15th on the calendar it sats "extra magic hours". It doesnt say that on wednesday, the 14th. Does that mean I should go on wednesday instead? Would the lines be shorter then if I got there at opening on wednesday versus thursday? Also it says the park opens at 9am, do they open it any earlier than posted? Should I be there at about 8:30 or so?
