I plan on taking one day out of visiting Disney World during our trip in May to check out the World of Harry Potter. We plan on going on Sunday, May 22. We aren't interested in any other rides/areas (unless there is something that you suggest we shouldn't miss). How long do you think it will take us to visit the WWOHP? We plan on arriving at rope drop and staying until we see/do everything.

Thanks for your tips.

here is our recent (March 17) experience- got t parking by 8:05am, at park entrance by about 820am, significant lines already; let into park around 8;35 with staged movement through park going to the left through JP until eventually allowed into HP land around 845/850, and staright onto FJ- lives/ crowds very big but moving steady
we had no bags as we knew not to do so
done ride by about 940am, moved onto butterbeer (wait about 5 minutes) into wand shop (did not wait for wand show due to line very very long), shop a mad house by 10am, bought wand, by time we left around 1030 line up to get into store.
daughter was going to ride FJ again in single rider lne but wait over 1 hr so we walked around and then left- went to spider man rode it doing single rider line-wait was still about 1 hr- other line was 150 minutes
shopped and left park by around 12:45

We have done Unviersal twice before and were there really only for HP
GET THERE EARLY

Oh goodness... Thanks for the tips. I am hoping the crowds in May won't be as bad as they are in March. Is that just wishful thinking on my part??? :confused3

I didn't know about the bags. Thanks for letting me know!!!
