One Day, No Magic Band Question

Hi.

We are staying off site and I will be at MK one day in April. I have an AP and many MBs. However, my bff will be with me and I just purchased her one day MK ticket, reserved the day and set. I also had her (well I did and used her card since she doesnt have a MDE her name is under my account) purchase G+.

She threw away her MB from our last trip .

What will she use to get in and tap into the tapstyles for the G+ attractions?
The receipt I have from her ticket has a QR code. Does she use that?

At MK entry, they’ll give her a plastic ticket card. She’ll use that at the LL entrances.

This is what I'm afraid of. Do we need to go to the GS window before going in? MK the Tuesday after Easter will be a mile long at the GS window.
If above is correct, is there any other option? If not, she is purchasing a MB.

My understanding is that they can issue a ticket card at the MK tapstiles.

I bought a ticket- they sent me a conf. Code via email... same issue- no card or mb- I can see name and park res. On the app.... how does he enter? Go to gate? Or gs first? (Another wrinkle is hopping later)

A CM can issue a plastic ticket at the gates as you enter (you should not need to go to guest relations or to a ticket window). Additionally, through MDE you can now issue a virtual ticket and add it to your wallet, then use the phone to tap in at park entry and at rides for G+ LL. However, since the OP has added the friend as a user managed by their account, they would need to either use their phone for the friend, or allow the friend to log into their MDE account on her phone.

So, the two possibilities are as follows, is below correct:

*My friend can get a card right as we enter? You mean that when we get up to the finger scan, we stop and say
we have a ticket but now what do we do and they call over someone that stands there with an ipad?

*I can somehow find out how to upload my friend's ticket to my iphone and use to tap into getting into the park and
G+ and ILLs?

I think it would be less of trouble and not having me be on my phone for G+ and tapping in for my friend if she just has an actual card. This will be fine for me (she won't have a clue) IF I do not need to go to GS since it will be crazy long and busy being the Tuesday after Easter.

Will you (she) be there the evening before your trip to MK? You can go to Guest Services at Disney Springs to get a plastic card. Or stop by one of the ticket windows on your way into Ticket & Transportation - they can activate the one-day ticket and issue her a plastic card.
