One Day MK Ticket Question

Need confirmation:

We have a 3 night reservation at CBR, next week, with one day MK tickets. Looks like DH will have to work on MK day. If he does not use the ticket/enter the MK, will he still have that ticket to use on a future trip (January 2016)? Just want to be 100% sure.
