Hello all!
My family of 4 is going to be at MK for a one-day in-and-out trip on 6/7 (last minute planning!). We are trying to get the most "bang for our buck" and let our 6-year-old experience as much as she can on her first visit. I just noticed that there are two MSEP--one at 9 pm and one at 11 pm. Which would you recommend? Is it best to try to catch more rides during the 9:00? If the park is closing at 11 and the MSEP is at 11, does that mean that rides will be shut down at that time? Thanks so much!

How exciting! I hope you have a great day! It's going to be a crowded park that day. The rides will cease letting people in queue at 11pm. Personally, I prefer the last parade.

The later one will be less crowded for sure. But the first one will pull enough people away to help with lines a little. Good luck and have a great time!!

Definitely plan on the 11:00 parade. Even if you do a last-minute ride (entering the queue at 10:59), you can probably get to Frontierland before the parade gets there. You don't have to get there early to get a good spot for viewing, as you would for the 9:00, and you don't lose any ride time because all the lines are closed anyway.

But what you really need to do is a rain dance. :) My husband and I had one day at the MK last week. It started raining in mid afternoon and rained for hours, stopping just in time for the 11:00 parade. We walked through the castle as the parade was already coming down Main Street, and got a spot right there facing the castle. with no one around us. Thousands of people had given up.
