What is your ultimate Disney Day!

I will have about 9 hours in Disney World next Monday. I am trying to decide exactly what I should do. I think my priorities are holiday snacks and to ride a few of my favs, I want to know if you have nine hours, and a park hopper, what would you do? What should I do?

My original plan was MK 9:30-1ish, head to Hollywood Studios be there around 1:45 as I have a list of snacks I want to try here, then end at Epcot with some more snacks, and then head out.

However now I am thinking, head to Hollywood Studios at 9:30 for snacks and lunch, then Epcot, be there at 1:45 for a quick walk around world showcase, and at least 1 or 2 snacks, and hop to MK to end my day, and then head to the airport.

Which would you do and why? What should I do? I have to head to the airport around 6:30 give or take.

I just checked the hours for that day (I'm assuming Dec. 13?). AK opens at 8, MK & HS at 9 and Epcot at 11. Since you only have 9 hours this is a tough one and I think it might depend on if you want to ride rides or just experience the parks. I would probably start at MK, just because it opens early enough, there is plenty of rides there and other things to see to get you through to 1:45. Then I'd hop to Epcot to maybe ride a ride or two at the front of the park since you will be there anyway, walk through to WS and grab some food at some booths and walk over to HS and maybe catch a ride or two if it's not too bad or just walk around and look at the great decorations.

Alternatively, reverse it and start at HS, ride a few rides and drop into HBD for a snack and a refreshing adult beverage, leave around 1:30 to walk over to Epcot (it takes me about 20 min. to do the walk) maybe stopping in YC to see the decorations. Grab some food from booths while working your way through WS and then hop on the monorail to MK and end your day there.

Or, I might spend a few hours at MK riding a few rides and grabbing a snack or two, monorail over to GF around 12:45 or so and look at the decorations, hop on the monorail around 1:30 or a tad later to Epcot, maybe skipping the rides there or hopping on something if it has a really short wait, walk through WS and grab some food at a few booths and walk over HS, stopping at YC to see the decorations.

The 2:00 hopping rule makes it a little harder to get three parks in that short of time. If it weren't for that, I'd start at AK spend a few hours, bus to MK spend a few hours, monorail to Epcot spend a few hours and then to HS.

Given the limited amount of time, I think I would start at HS, then walk to EPCOT or take the skyliner. That gives you 2 parks and not lose a lot of time getting between parks. Then you can see how you are doing on time and decide about MK after that.

Yup next Monday, I know the hoping 2pm is killing my plan! I’m think HS, Epcot, MK….I love that walk, and I agree would be nice to see some hotel decorations too!

I do think I’m leaning this way… even if I only hop into MK for an hour I’ll be happy. If they would just move up hoping time to 1!
