Then go list them, what are you waiting for? It is already end of July...
Sell an envelop which has a 1 day ticket...
If it were for me, I will likely list it as is.
However, I still haven't decided what a fair price it should be.
Again, if it were too high, I am concerned there is no bidder, but you don't want to sell it for too low either, too high a reserve will not help. You don't have too much time to relist. Your buyer pool is somewhat limited (say for those who plan to go WDW before Aug 31 and don't mind taking a one-day pass even they may need more days. You also have to decide whether you want a 7 day or a 3 day listing. You also have to give yourself time to send the ticket. I suspected not too people will go to ebay and look for a 1 day ticket, hence it is unlikely to have a decent bidder pool.
Did you search e-bay to see what this kind of ticket sold for?
I am just making a suggestion here so that other people can have something to comment on and hopefully we get a better solution.
a. what about put in the DIS auction board? (I have no experience with this)
b. For e-bay, what about a starting price of $20 without reserve? will you be happy with $20 with a 3 day and 7 day listing? note that ebay will charge you, you don't really get $20. if no one wants to buy at $20, you may need to adjust accordingly. Note that the whole economic is supply and demand, if it can't sell at that price, may be there is no demand. Personally, I do not like reserve too much. It costs more if it doesn't sell and I hate guessing game.
c. Can you also list it locally in some supermarket , YMCA or offices?
d. can you do them (b and c) simultaneously (say with E-bay, I don't know the implication of pulling out from ebay after it has been listed, I think it may be okay to pull them out if no one bids on the item at least I had seen some sellers did that).
Comments?? Suggestions??
