My DH and DS (16) have decided that they want to visit Universal the last day of our stay in Dec. We have never been to Universal and are not sure which park to visit or if two could be done in one day? They are thrill seekers and love roller coasters. Any opinions/advice?????? Thanks!!!!

You can buy a 2-park 1 day pass and see both, but if they're thrillseekers they'll prefer IOA.

Also, they'll probably wish you had 2 days when it's over :thumbsup2

Like Chris said, get the two park/one day ticket. You can do all the good stuff if you buy an Express Plus Pass and get to the park a 1/2 hour before it opens. Which means, getting to the parking lot 45min-1 hour before it opens. The park usually opens a little earlier than advertised (just for us Disers in the know ;) ) and you can knock off a couple of the more popular rides in that first hour.

You can definetly do both parks in one day...and not the whole day either...especially with a 16 year old!!! The only time it would take you 2 days or more is if you want to go to the kiddie type rides, like shrek, jimmy neutron, etc.. everytime I went those rides seemed to be the longest...with older kids (like myself) your able to manuver around quite quickly!!! have fun also visit universalignited.com and you'll be able to see video/pics of all the rides, maps etc... it really helped me plan!!!

IMHO IOA is best for the thrill rides, Go in there first and go ANTI clock wise to do HULK and SPIDER MAN first. With a 16 yr old you can easily do both parks in one day.Just take comfy shoes! The MUMMY at Universal is Excellent!!! we rode single line riders Q was just 5 mins.So went on 3 times one anfter another! LOVE IT! :teeth:

I just want to say thank you to all who responded! I think we will go with the 1 day 2 park pass. Sounds like they will be able to do every thing that they want with no problem. You guys and gals are great!
