Going on a cruise in Feb, and the airlines changed my return flight home from MCO until 8pm, so now planning on going to Epcot for the day, we are going to get a rental car from Port Canaveral to get to Epcot, but need to know if I should just wait until I get to Epcot to purchase my tickets, or purchase ahead of time?.. I haven't visited since 2016, so I know a lot has changed. I just am worried that the airlines will change my flight again.. so I don't want to purchases my tickets and be stuck with them if plans change. Any advice.? Also .. what should I see or do with the the 6 hours I have at Epcot.

Since they are eliminating reservations for date-based tickets starting in January, at least you don’t need to worry about park reservations. I think if there were no capacity, they would not sell you the one-day tickets. But no one knows yet how they will manage capacity. Epcot is large; if anything closes to capacity, it’s rare and usually Magic Kingdom. I get the flight change risk. If it were me, I would probably watch this thread as I got closer for crowd levels. Maybe buy tickets the night before, so you can do Genie+ first thing in the morning.
In terms of how to spend the time, what is your priority: ride the new stuff, do as much of Future World as you can, or tour the countries? With 6 hours, you’ll need to pick. For a ride focus, I would use Genie+ to start booking LLs at 7:00 a.m for times after you get to the park.

park reservations will not be required in February so you can wait until the day of your visit to purchase tickets.

That being said, if Guardians is still a VQ in Feb you will not be eligible for the 7AM drop not will you be eligible to purchase G+. Normally you don’t ‘need’ it at Epcot but with just a 6 hour window, I would confident buying it.

Priorities o would recommend would be
- Guardians
- Remy
then whatever other attractions you like.
