We will be spending one day at Epcot in February with a 2yo and baby. In the morning we plan to do Future World stuff with lunch at Sunshine Seasons. Then we will go back to the hotel for a rest. When we come back we will do the countries. Since we will only be there one day, I don't want to tie myself to a table service restaurant for dinner. Would it work to get snacks in some of the countries? How long does it take to walk all the way around? I'm thinking we won't be there later than 8pm so we'd maybe have 4 hours on that side.

Rather than just snacks, the wife and I prefer to split two quick services options over the course of 4-5 hours.

Unfortunately, alot of the things we like to split are one side.

Tangerine Cafe, Fish & Chips, etc.

The amount of time you spend in each country is totally up to you so if you are literally just walking through you could probably do it in under an hour if you just stopped for a snack and a drink...OR, you could meet characters, shop, eat, drink, watch shows and take an entire evening.

4 hours should be plenty of time especially with such little ones with you. Last December, we went to every clothing shop in every country looking for soccer jerseys. We made purchases in at least 4 countries. We also had snacks and glacé in France and finished up in about 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

I'd do some research. There are some really large counter service options at some places like Norway where you can easily split between you guys and may work out a cheaper option than snacks.

Snack wise though, look through the menus as some of the places have some really nice things. The Chips (Fat Fries) in the UK are lovely. There are some nice things in France like Crepes and Ice Cream as well as amazing pastries. Japan obviously has sushi. Morocco does some nice pastries too. USA has huge funnel cakes if you like them. Italy I think has some ice cream and sweets. Germany does pretzels as well as frankfuerters I think. Definitely have a good look at some menus so you know whether or not you are likely to eat there and then you have some options for snacks when you find yourselves peckish.

In relation to table service there are some that are usually good for walk ups (i.e. no reservation you just turn up) such as China which always seems to accomadate us!
