One Day During Trip...

Hey folks!

I'm planning our Orlando trip for mid August and my husband and I agreed to do US for the day.
We are staying on site at WDW so we would transportation to US...how would we go about getting transportation without renting a car? What is the normal cost...

We are military so I am hoping there is some type of military discount for tickets here at the ITT at the Pentagon. But do the military tickets have the option of the express pass ticket?? On a side note, how exactly does the express pass work?? Is it like fast pass at Disney or something totally different....

Since this is our first time at US, is it possible to do both parks in one day?? Like I said I figure we buy the express pass...will that help? I know it'll be hot and humid...but this will probably be our only day spending the entire day outside since we will have the ability to go back to our resort while we are at wDW...KWIM?

Sorry for so many questions...just wanna make sure we can get as much as we can done.

I'm sure there are military discounts available...check your office for the discount. Express Passes are separate from your park tickets so it doesn't matter what kind of ticket you have. EPs are good for once through the Express line for each participating attraction at either park. Pricing depends on the date you are visiting but I wouldn't spend the money before checking the lines in person. You can purchase EPs at either park.

Two parks in a single day especially in high season is going to be very difficult...even with Express. You might be able to do everything but you can hit the highlights at both parks.

OP, you can call UOR and get the MIL rate for a sweet discount on a room onsite for one night.

also, get the MIL tickets for the darkside.


it could be cheaper to get one room onsite for one night and then have 2 full days of unlimited usage of the express lines.



you can have 5 in the room.
all will recieve the hotel perk of express line usage as a hotel guest.


mid august will have crowds and it will be hot.
having a room onsite will be a blessing to escape from the hot sun at the height of the day.
